When I was a kid I wanted to be either an exploring scientist like Jacques-Yves Cousteau, or a football player. I guess this dilemma was fatal – I studied more than required for a footballer, but less than required for a scientist.
I bought this domain around 2002 thinking of turning it into a place for people to share first-hand travel experiences and make recommendations. The road from vision to implementation was too long, sites like travelpod.com or tripadvisor.com are now doing the job, so ultimately this turned into a blog helping my friends around the world to keep track of my footsteps. Through the world, through life.
